People from different countries came for different purposes. In 1607, North America was settled in by the english. They were in Virginia and they made Jamestown. The Pilgrims set sail on the Mayflower in 1620 to Virginia. At 1625, the Pilgrims made New Amsterdam[which is now New York] at the tip of Manhattan. In 1680,The French go to Louisiana. The German and Scots also go. At 1760
